JUST IN: Ogun Government Shuts Olumo Rock for Renovation Starting April 1

The Ogun State Government has announced the temporary closure of the iconic Olumo Rock Tourist Centre in Abeokuta, beginning April 14, to allow for major renovations and structural upgrades.

In a statement released on Friday, the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Sesan Fagbayi, said the move is aimed at boosting tourism and safeguarding the state’s cultural heritage.

Fagbayi emphasized that the facelift is part of the government’s broader commitment to revitalizing key tourist landmarks and enhancing visitor experiences across Ogun State.
